Airport music with Bryn Hafren school
This is an early edit of a composition made by some talented Bryn Hafren year 9 music students. Their teacher, Mr Morris, was great fun to work with and a very good dancer! We were tasked with creating some music linked to their local airport.
We decided to think about what it’s like to fly above Wales, our homeland. The girls composed some lovely, atmospheric piano, choral and guitar obstinati, and chords that we used for the music. We feel it conveys a sense of flying and also ‘hiraeth’ for Wales.
